Bombshells Flowers

Throughout time, the treasured art of hybridizing roses, tulips and other flowers has resulted in thousands of varieties with a myriad of names. Many flowers have been named after the people who created them, historical figures and even celebrities. We present for you a list below of some of the many varieties of flowers that have been named after bombshells and other celebrities we know and love.

Betty Boop Rose

Audrey Hepburn is a light pink hybrid tea rose with large flowers. It is currently available at High Country Roses.

Judy Garland is an
unbelievably pretty floribunda rose, with colors ranging from chrome yellow blushing to hot orange and scarlet. It is available from Nature Hills Nursery.

Gracie Allen is a beautiful light pink rose that was originally introduced by Weeks Roses. I cannot find a current source for this rose.

George Burns is a gorgeously striped and colorful. This wonderful floribunda rose is available from Brecks.

Josephine Baker is a
stunning dark red rose has a mild fragrance and a double blooming season. Unable to find a current source for this rose. Check here for more info.

Barbra Streisand Rose is a
sensuous lavender bloomed hybrid tea rose edged with deep magenta. Glossy, deep green foliage. available from Star Roses.

Cary Grant Rose

Cary Grant Rose is a
brilliant orange rose is as unique as it’s namesake. Available from Growquest.

Singin’ in the Rain is an
easy to grow apricot rose is available from Rogue Valley Roses.

Henry Fonda is a
beautiful yellow roses has a slight fragrance and has a good resistance to disease. It is available at Jackson & Perkins.

Gina Lollabrigida is a
golden-yellow hybrid rose with a heady fragrance Large, abundant blooms on a strong, upright plant with dense, medium green foliage. An opulent choice for the garden. Available from Star Roses.

Ingrid Bergman is a
beautiful dark-red velvety rose is available from Jackson & Perkins.

Julie Andrews Rose is a
coral-salmon rose blooms all summer and is available at Pickering Nursery.

Dolly Parton is a beautiful rose with orange & orange-red blend blooms. It has a very strong fragrance and blooms early in season and it’s repeats it’s bloom later in the season. Grows to five feet tall. It is available from Star Roses.

Helen Hayes
beautiful light yellow rose is hardy in zone 4 and can be purchased from Inter-State Nurseries.

Sophia Loren Rose is
